Governor Al-Najada appreciated His Majesty King Abdulla II’s interest in Ajloun Governorate, as he issued his royal directives to prepare a comprehensive development plan for the next 20 years. The plan is designed to ensure the sustainable development of Ajloun Governorate within its regional and local context and to strongly reflect its tourism and agricultural identity.
“The plan will guide the process of rural and urban development in the governorate during the coming period from 2020 to 2040 at the regional and local levels, in order to achieve balanced development with optimal use of natural and human resources.” said Eng. Nashwa Suboh, the Executive Director of CCG’s Urban Planning Center.
Eng. Firas Sweidan also referred to the goals and objectives of the comprehensive development plan and the vision for the governorate and he reviewed the five key stages of the work that will be implemented over a period of 14 months, including 313 working days and ending on February 8th, 2022.
